Here is the buck my little brother (7years old) shot this morning. He was hunting with my dad in the ground blind. This 8 point came up but didn't make it away. He went 20yards after he was shot and fell down.

Here is the story that my dad wrote on the hunt. Enjoy

"After many many hours in the woods for the last 2 seasons My seven year old son seals the deal. We live in 5C and the deer herd is huge but still it wasn't easy. Archery season 08 we saw plenty of deer had 6 different buck in range but no shots were taken. I made him a promise on opening day of archery 08 that I would not shoot a another deer untill he did.
This is our story
Opening day archery 2009
up at 5: am breakfast
6:00 am arrive at hunting location walk to our spot set up our doghouse portable blind and begin the hunt My son is watching the way I expect the deer to come from I'm looking out the back toward the field, 6:45 or there about he says "dad.....dad.... dad... (and starts pointig out the window of the blind) I see a buck ...I see a buck" and in a very quiet whisper ssshhh. I have a tripod set up for him to shoot off but it's facing the wrong way the buck is about 40 yds out walking towards us fast. Quickly quietly I reposition the tripod move his stool back place the bow on the tripod put the arrow on. now the buck is 12 yds out. HE stops looks at the blind and changes direction He's walking right in front of us perfct but now he is about 25 yds out broadside my sons squezzes the trigger and nothings happenin I see him squezin and relize the safe is on I click the safe off the buck heard it and turned looking straight at us I thought for a split second dont shoot before the word came out he fired
The sound was an unmistakable hit. I grabbed that litle guy and gave him a big hug and some high fives. There is no greater reward than the smile on his face. The dear realed around ran about 35 yards and went down. I saw him going down but my son could'nt, the exitement was too much and we went to retrieve his prize. 7:10 am we are standing over this Beutifull 8 point
He hit the dear smack in the middle of the chest the arrow pased through the center of the heart, exited the stomach and cut the inside of the back leg. When we paced it off the shot was 27yrds. he was shooting a tenpoint pro slider with 125 grain thunderhead broadheads"
